DL stands for dimension lengthwise and is a standard size for envelopes and promotional substances such as brochures and flyers. The "C Series" represents DL size to be 100mm × 210mm, which is also precisely a third the size of an A4. The DLX envelope is 120mm x 235mm, which is imperceptibly larger than the DL envelope plus is generally applied for mail-outs as it suits more papers than the DL Envelopes.
